Our packaging concept is developed with a strategy to reduce the use of fossil plastic made from oil or gas and to encourage both recycling and reuse of plastic bottles.

All karyo PET plastic bottles are made from 100% of PCR (Post-Consumer Recycle) plastic. PCR plastic has a carbon footprint approximately 70 % smaller than fossil plastic.
We want to be as environmentally friendly as possible and, where possible, eliminate the use of fossil plastic.

As glass has a very high recycling percentage, we considered using glass bottles at one point. But because of the weight and the fragile bottles, we did not choose this solution.

All our ingredients are recognized by nature and therefore 100% biodegradable.
Most cleaning products (even those that claim to be sustainable) contain ingredients that are harmful to nature as well as to our health.
That's why we decided to develop a brand with responsible, sustainable and especially biodegradable cleaning products.

We decided to create a natural product that can be used safely inside the home and also for the planet, using only natural ingredients that are biodegradable and easily absorbed by nature.

European legislation prohibits testing on animals.

One of our core beliefs is that our products should be safe for people, animals and our planet. We ensure that all our ingredients are safe, free of harmful substances and not tested on animals.

Why clean with nasty chemicals when you can use nature itself.

Forget the old slogan: "We kill 99.9 % of all germs" because with karyo: "We clean with love" the same way nature has done for thousands of years.
When you use karyo products, you maintain healthy microflora in your home. Our cleaning products leave behind a layer of "good bacteria", called probiotics, on surfaces. These good bacteria break down microscopic dirt into tiny particles and eat them. Plus, they will continue to break down dirt for up to 3 days after cleaning.

Because glass has a very high recycling percentage, we considered using glass bottles for a long time. But because of the weight and the fragile bottles, we didn't feel it was the right solution.
We have also sourced sprayers, pumps and lids, but so far the development of these products has not been sufficient to ensure that the bottles are leak proof. However, we continue to monitor the development of these new products and will update these articles as soon as a more sustainable alternative becomes available.

All karyo products are vegan. This means that we do not use any animal or animal by-products in our cleaning products. It is very important to us that no products have been tested on animals.
